Your Role
As Staff Machine Learning Engineer (m/f/d), you will shape and ship production-grade AI systems at the intersection of machine learning, large language models, and agentic workflows. This is not a pure research role — and not a standard ML engineering position. We are looking for someone who combines deep technical and scientific expertise with strong engineering judgment, production ownership, and the ability to lead complex AI initiatives across teams.
- Build production-grade AI systems: Design, develop, and deploy robust ML- and LLM-based systems that create measurable value in business-critical automation use cases.
- Drive architecture and technical direction: Shape how we build advanced AI systems across LLM orchestration, agentic workflows, RAG, and knowledge-grounded architectures.
- Own evaluation and reliability: Establish strong evaluation frameworks, monitoring, and guardrails to ensure consistent performance, grounded behavior, and high system reliability.
- Translate research into impact: Bring advanced methods into real-world production systems and help move ideas from experimentation to scalable deployment.
- Provide technical leadership: Mentor engineers, guide cross-functional initiatives, and help raise the bar for technical quality, best practices, and execution across the team.
